The track and field team took some time off from practice to help with a literacy program at the WSU Mini U on campus.

The cross country teams competed in the Wilmington Fall Classic Friday with the men finishing in a tie for second overall and women placing 12th.

Senior Dan Shafer of the men's cross country team has been selected as the Horizon League Male Scholar-Athlete of the Month for August/September, it was announced Tuesday by the league office.
